Candidate Assistance Program (CAP)

Did you know that new Police Officers are tested for physical fitness on the 3rd day of the Police Academy? Watch the video here.

CAP is the best way to prepare. Click here for class times and dates. Saturday Sessions are 7:30 am to 10:30 am at the Ahmanson Recruit Training Center only.

The Valley location is Devonshire Community Police Station 10250 Etiwanda Ave, Northridge, CA 91325. Meet at the park adjacent to Devonshire at the corner of Devonshire Street and Etwanda Ave. Tuesdays & Thursdays 6-9 PM.

Rainy Day Schedule: If it is raining 30 minutes prior to start time, CAP will be canceled. Women's CAP is Rain or Shine!
